About Zoe – Life to the FULL
Zoe – Life to the Full is a trading name of Life Unleashed Ltd, a health and lifestyle coaching company based in Poole, Dorset. Zoe is run by Abigail Balachandran BSYA AHCP (Reg), a qualified Health and Lifestyle trainer and weight consultant, accredited by and registered with AHCP (Association of Holistic and Complimentary Practitioners).
Abigail Balachandran has had over 10 years experience in healthcare including Public Health and local hospital trusts, more recently at Poole hospital in oncology and dietetics. She left the NHS to pursue her passion to equip and motivate people to live healthier lives. As well as engaging with local parents through the Children’s Centre supporting them with weight loss and smoking cessation, Abbie also works with Bournemouth based charity IEAT, providing one-to-one support to those suffering with eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia and binge eating disorder.
Abbie’s practice is not purely from textbook but from experience of her own health challenges. The changes that she encourages are grounded in her own experience of implementing changes to positively impact health and fitness. This strengthens her empathetic approach to clients.
Zoe Life to the Full provides a health and lifestyle training service that is grounded on sound clinical evidence outlined by the Department of Health, World Health Organisation and British Psychological Society so there are no gimmicks or quick fixes.
The impact of lifestyle choices on long term health and feelings of well-being is well evidenced and documented so although little can be done to change genetics we can control what we expose our bodies to and what we put into them. The aim of Zoe’s health and lifestyle coaching is to provide people with insight and skills to be able to make sustainable changes that will lead to tangible and lasting results. Programmes are individually tailored and are designed to help you make the changes that are realistic and achievable for you and at a rate that is right for you.
Goals are discussed and agreed together and are SMART – Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timely. Focus is always on the positives and each session is used to build your confidence. Most people can see clearly the importance of making changes but lack confidence so our sessions focus on building confidence in your ability and encouraging you to achieve your targets.
